We created this platform with the sustainable development goals of the United Nations in mind, being aware that we all have a part to play in realising these aims. To achieve sustainable development, it is crucial to harmonise three core elements: economic growth, social inclusion and environmental protection.
Everyone should have the benefit of economic growth, which means a rise in real GDP. When we improve economic growth, this automatically leads to a rise in living standards and greater consumption of goods and services.
The main objective of economic growth for us means: to improve lives with economic growth, which results in reduced poverty.
No one has control over where they are born. Each country in the world has its own culture where people grow up in with different beliefs, values and mindsets. Much of the problem in any cross-cultural interaction stems from our expectations. The challenge is that whenever we deal with people from another culture, whether in our own country or globally, we expect people to behave as we do and for the same reasons. That’s why cultural awareness is important, and most commonly refers to having an understanding of another culture’s values and perspective. This does not mean automatic acceptance; it simply means understanding another culture’s mindset and how its history, economy, and society have impacted the way people think. Understanding so that you can properly interpret someone’s words and actions means you can effectively interact with them.
The overall objective in creating chances for each individual is: giving access to everyone and giving them the opportunity to create a better life for themselves and connect with people from other cultures.
Technological progress is the foundation of achieving great objectives. Our focus is to keep investing in information and communication technology to maintain being innovative. Upgrading the technological capabilities, in particular, of developing countries.
The overall objective of innovation is to increase efficiency, with the focus on mobile cellular services that increase connections between people.
Our goal is to reduce gender inequality, as we believe every human should have the same rights. No one is better; neither is someone worse. Worldwide, more than half the population (52%) believe that being male has more benefits. Only one-tenth of the world’s population thinks there are more benefits to being female. On the other hand, half the world’s population believes that today’s young women will have a better life than the women of their parents’ generation. So there is still a long way to go, but attitudes are changing.
The overall objective of gender equality is a society in which women and men enjoy the same opportunities, rights and obligations in all spheres of life. We all have a part in this, and together we can make the change!
World poverty is still a huge problem that we face every day. Billions of people around the globe are living in extreme poverty, as figures show that nearly 10% of the world’s population lives below the World Bank poverty line of $1.90 per day. Almost half the world (nearly 4 billion people) lives with a household income of below $2.50 per day.
Building a sustainable future means finding ways to meet the needs of the present without sacrificing the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. It requires a unified, collaborative and global approach that isn’t bound by cultures, conditions or continents.
The overall objective of reducing world poverty is to connect with the people who are living in extreme poverty and create different opportunities for them to increase their daily income.
Through travelling around the world, we saw opportunities to make something great for everyone. A startup for startups, or what we call ‘The Social Enterprise’, where each one of us can benefit from tourism. We are all human, and we believe each one of us has a tremendous ability to evolve. For anyone who has dreams or goals in life, we want you to succeed, achieve those goals and make dreams come true. We should give everyone the opportunity to do good in their environment.
Together we can make a change and get the best out of each other.
